The Satisfied Soul: Finding contentment

Do you realize the person that has the most influence on you is YOU? Have you ever thought about the person you talk to and hear from the most - is you? Whatever we tell ourself has a massive impact on what we think, feel, and do. That's why the Bible tells us to guard our hearts and minds and to saturate them with GOD'S words. The Psalm are studying this morning encourages us to do just that - speak to our souls and in the darkest of times, remind ourselves that we have ALL we could ever need in Christ and that HE is our true delight and satisfaction.

Reflection Questions:

  1. In the past 2 years, what would you say you've been the most "discontent" with in your life?

  2. Why do you think that is?

  3. How do we find the balance of having goals/dreams but not letting those become an obsession/our "god"?

  4. How can we DAILY remind ourselves that no matter our circumstance, Jesus is ALL we truly need to be content?
