The Danger Of Misunderstanding
Have you ever had a disagreement or falling out with someone because you misunderstood each other? One of the most overlooked aspects to relationships is communication. We tend to avoid saying how we feel or what we are truly thinking for the sake of peace but it actually ends up being worse and causing bitterness, resentment, and division. As we'll see in today's passage, we must all take personal responsibility to create environments that welcome transparency and honesty with our communication - first and foremost with God.

Has there ever been a time where you had a conflict because of lack of communication? How did that turn out?
Do you still have unresolved conflict between anyone in your life? If you are at fault, have you humbled yourself to ask for forgiveness? It you are not at fault, have you shown to that person(s) the same forgiveness you've received from Christ?
In what areas can you improve & deepen your communication with Jesus?
